This Privacy Policy explains how HairAdvisor ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Photos You Upload. The App processes photos you choose to upload for the purpose of AI-powered hairstyle analysis and virtual try-on. These photos are sent to our third-party AI processing service (Replicate / FAL.ai) temporarily for analysis and are not stored permanently by us.

Device Information. We may collect basic device information such as device model, operating system version, and app version to help us improve the App and diagnose technical issues.

Usage Data. We may collect anonymized analytics about how you interact with the App (e.g., features used, session duration) to improve the user experience.

No Account Information. The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To analyze your uploaded photo and generate hairstyle recommendations
• To power the AI virtual try-on feature
• To improve the accuracy and quality of our AI models
• To diagnose crashes and technical issues
• To understand usage patterns and improve the App

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Replicate / FAL.ai — AI model inference providers. Your uploaded photo is sent to these services temporarily for processing. These services may have their own privacy policies governing data handling.
• Google Play Services — App distribution, crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics), and analytics (Firebase Analytics).
• RevenueCat (if applicable) — In-app purchase management. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts but does not receive your photos.

We do not sell your personal information or photos to any third party.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Photos. Uploaded photos are temporarily held by our AI processing provider during analysis and are automatically deleted after processing. We do not store your photos on our servers. A local copy of your analysis results (face shape, style tips) may be stored on your device using local storage (SharedPreferences) for display purposes.

Analytics Data. Anonymized analytics data is retained for as long as necessary to support the App's operation and improvement.

Purchase Data. In-app purchase records are managed by Google Play and RevenueCat according to their respective privacy policies. We do not store payment information.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data during transmission, including HTTPS encryption for all API communications. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Photo Deletion: Analysis results stored locally on your device can be cleared by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.
• Opt-Out of Analytics: You can limit analytics collection through your device's privacy settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
• Data Deletion Requests: Contact us at the email below for any data deletion requests.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and/or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
